Jacqueline Edelberg Featured Speaker for City Club in the City June 15
CLEVELAND, OH— The City Club of Cleveland will host Jacqueline Edelberg for the upcoming City Club in the City in the auditorium of Cuyahoga Community College’s Metropolitan Campus at 2900 Community College Avenue at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 15. City Club in the City brings traditional City Club Forums into the community.
Jacqueline Edelberg has been the driving force behind the Nettelhorst School’s dramatic turn around, a story that has been featured in the local Chicago and national media. A community organizer and writer, Edelberg has consulted with and led workshops for schools, parent’s associations and neighborhood groups on how public schools and reformers can galvanize communities to improve public education. Edelberg has taught political science at the University of Osnabrück in Germany as a Fulbright scholar. She earned her bachelor’s degree and doctorate from the University of Chicago.
