2. Court Watch Pending Cases
A. Conrad Virola 540395-A. On Feb. 7 he was convicted of drug trafficking, drug possession and possession of criminal tools. He will be sentenced on March 14 at 9 a.m. in Shirley Strickland Saffold's courtroom 21D. Write her a letter and send a copy of it to the prosecutor, Andy Rogalski at
arogalski [at] cuyahogacounty [dot] us. (See the Court Watch...Info Sheet for addresses). (In the Jorge Rodriquez matter in B. below, Judge Saffold surprised Rodriquez with a year in prison. He was noticeably shaken. Our letter to her was read by her and she referred to it as she sentenced him).B. Jorge Rodriquez #538611-B, and Brittany Goodwin #538611-A. Breaking and entering (smashed car windows), theft, aggravated theft and criminal damaging.
On Feb. 15 Rodriquez was sentenced to one year in prison by Judge Saffold with parole thereafter, and fined $500.
On Feb. 23 Goodwin failed to appear for sentencing and a warrant was issued for her arrest. She resides at 1099 Clark Ave. She is short, thin, no glasses, long straight black hair. Call the police if you see her. I will try to get a picture of her.
C. Robert D. Thomas, #540814-A. Burglary, theft, aggravated theft. He failed to appear at his pre-trial and an arrest warrant was issued. He lives at 2363 W. 14th St. Call the police if you see him. I don't have a pic, but Bruce Willis knows what he looks like.
D. Larry Ross, CR-11-546051-A. Burglary, grand theft, criminal damaging, having weapon while under disability. Concerns 424 Literary Ave. Pre-trial scheduled for Feb. 28
E. Michael John Matus, III, and Erwin B. Lawery, #s545697-A & B. Rape behind Lincoln Pub. Pre-trial scheduled for March 4.
3. Our next meeting, on Monday, March 14 will NOT be held at TWDC. I will let you know where it will be held, later.
