PPL Electric RFP [2] seeking to procure over 850,000 MWh of eligible Alternative Energy Credits (AECs) for PPL Electric Utilities Corporation to meet the Pennsylvania Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard through a multi-solicitation process. U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Request for Information [3] (RFI) (Sol.# DE-SOL-0002728) seeking input for DOE's consideration in order to improve potential Federal agency power purchase agreements (PPA). The RFI aims to identify PPA barriers and seeks private sector input regarding how best to address these barriers. PECO RFP [5] seeking fixed-price offers of up to 340,000 eligible Tier-II Alternative Energy Credits (AECs) for AEPS Reporting Years 2010/11 and 2011/12 to meet Pennsylvania's Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act requirements. All AECs are required to be delivered through the PJM Generation Attribute Tracking System ("PJM GATS"). An information session will be held for bidders on March 15, 2011. Bidder applications due date April 15, 2011.
