One thing to remember is the position of Commander is an appointed position. The Chief and the Mayor have the discretion to move someone in. And move someone out. Although we may not understand why this decision was made, or like it. We have to accept the fact that the Chief has spoken. Only he can answer why. Moving forward we need to focus on all the positive things that have happened over the past 7 years and help the new Commander get acclimated.
