National Geographic has a special on TV this evening called Human Footprint. But I don't get National Geographic with my rabbit ears/slim cable, so I cruised over to the website [1] and voila - all the stuff is right there, interactive, readable and I can digest it all a bit at a time.
Here's a little video clip on waste [2]. 15 tons of plastic per person in a lifetime on average. Wow, that really drives home another reason to take your canvas bag again and again to the farmer's market, eh?
The student film finalists [2] are pretty fun, too.
