Mayor Jackson... "concerned about the human impacts of pollution in northeast Ohio"Submitted by Norm Roulet on Wed, 08/04/2010 - 23:36.
Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson held a press conference today on the hills overlooking the beautiful Cuyahoga River Valley, where he proclaimed "I am not a mutant - no Clevelanders are Mutants - pollution don't mutant people... mutants mutant people... and I'll Prove it". All two honest journalists remaining in Ohio attended the press conference, and puked. They are being treated at MetroHealth for pollution poisoning, and are reported to be in critical condition. That or less was the Mayor's response to news that the Sierra Club and other environmentalists are "concerned about the human impacts of pollution in northeast Ohio"... "think that it's inadequate to expect networked monitors in a region as large as northeast Ohio to be able to compensate for each other's outages"... think "it's a matter of opinion whether high particulate levels are unhealthy only if they persist for a 24-hour period"... and "say it's downright insensitive to claim otherwise, particularly for those who live in a relatively less polluted area". Note how you can barely see MetroHealth across the polluted valley Mayor Jackson then showed his 110% confidence in his entire air quality staff, and the Cleveland Department of Health... and the high quality of air in Cleveland... by announcing he is moving City Hall into the former LTV headquarters, directly adjacent to the primary steel mill at Arcelor/Mittal - saying "I get chills every time they blast that furnace - now I can see, smell and hear them blasting away at our environment all day long.... makes me think of the good old days when BP was flowing all that beautiful oil into the Gulf.
"You know, BP is from Cleveland"... the Mayor gushed... "Drill Baby Drill... tee hee... I always wanted to say that". "That pollution makes my people proud and strong" - Jackson said - "Now, the employees of the great City of Cleveland will be even greater - we shall work next to the steel mill and gain wisdom and power from the fumes". The city of Cleveland's health insurers immediately canceled all employee health coverage.
Sources at City Hall report all 1,854 of Jackson's family members working for the city of Cleveland resigned, issuing a family statement reading "look what he's done to our neighborhood of Central... we are right by the mill and it is hell here... we need to escape for work, at least". Mayor Jackson went on to read a statement prepared by Cleveland Health Director Matt Carroll:
To which Carroll commented to the press... "Did I really write that?" "Fuck... I was polluted".
Director Matt Carroll took back his words, stating he has brain damage from the pollution here and he is resigning to move to Montana and recuperate... Regarding the mayor's plans to move the Cleveland Health Department next to Mittal, Carroll exclaiming "is that mutant insane - the staff will all get mutated and die... who will repair the pollution monitors then!?!?" Jackson broke out into rolling laughter, cackling... "too late Matt, the mutation already has you... and your little dog too."
The former LTV Steel Headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio, was bought by a Houston real estate firm for a song because it is in one of the most toxic sites on Earth - otherwise, it is a lovely building... lots of free parking and places for picnics. I propose the Mayor of Cleveland, his Cabinet, the City Council members, and the Cleveland Department of Health all move here, as there is lots of space, it is cheap, and it offers an impressive view of Cleveland and the source of the death of the community. In one direction is Mittal and in all other directions... pure disaster - like life on Mars.
A complete arsenal of air quality and environmental monitoring devices should be located on the roof. Featured on this roof, in a screened enclosure with full toxic air fume flow-through, should be an environmental education center for advanced, wealthy college, private and parochial students to study and even spend nights or weeks, as Cleveland believes that air is as safe as in Gates Mills. Rowing teams practicing crew on the Cuyahoga may have a club room here for afternoon tea.
The current City Hall should be converted into a home for environmentally harmed families to detoxify on their way out of the region for recovery from the harm caused here - all this should be provided at city of Cleveland expense.... Luckily, the rent at the LTV building is cheap... far cheaper than the luxury air conditioned offices currently rented by the Cleveland Health Department at Erieview Plaze (what does that cost us a square foot, and who gets those checks?). Clearly, our city leaders need to be closer to the source of the pain and suffering in this community to understand the harm they cause, because all they are doing is greenwashing the region right now.

I still think the one in the middle
works for Cleveland's Law Department.
I recall seeing that person in Cleveland's Prosecutor's office where I waited with Guy and wasted hours to file criminal charges. I don't forget faces. I think it is the employee that I thought was going to rip my head off when I asked for another pencil since the lead broke on the one we were using.
Maybe Jackson is working (ha) as a Mayor and Prosecutor both. Do they call this double dipping? No wonder we can't get anything done in this city.

With babes like that hanging out at at the popular spot
I might have to go hang out myself.
Cheap high,,, priceless,,, just inhale.
I know where I am going to take Guy for his birthday. Guy is going to huff and get high for his birthday. After he gets stoned, he will think that I took him to one of those high class restaurants in Tremont. The places that I can't afford to go since my bum ass doesn't work and all I do is sit around all day causing trouble. Since they will not accept my food stamp card in those restaurants, I have to get creative.
We can accomplish a lot today since we know where to get high- for free- and find the mayor/prosecutor. We can talk to the mayor/prosecutor about the Sammy Catania assault cover up and get really stoned at the same time. If Guy deeply inhales, I might even have an alien pick him up and take him for a ride to La La Land.
Guy, get your partying clothes on. You are getting high today!!!!!!!!
The Mayor will hit you with his purse
Better be careful, Norm. I would hate to hear about you getting "Cataniad". It is legal, you know............
So is poisoning babies - this is Nazi Germany here
So is poisoning babies - this is Nazi Germany here. Genocide is genocide.
In fact, I bet real study will show the Nazis were highly poisoned by industrialism in Germany and that was a factor in their unnatural evil and hatred of humanity - lead poisoned!

"WORK"??? We have been waiting for "public records" that, were requested in November of 2009....and in January 2010 and "they sent us the records they" wanted" and not "ALL" the records!" Another request was made in Febuary 2010....WE HAVE BEEN IGNORED!!! We have a video of ONE OFFICIAL FROM EVERY DEPARTMENT OF CLEVELAND" at our door...with a search warrant....What a invasion of privacy....at 8:30 in the morning. I believed there were 13 persons here...
"the search warrant"......
and.....there was "NO PROBABLE CAUSE"......from the "KANGAROO KOURT"............WE ARE ALL ACTORS ON A STAGE...and YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE "THE CAST OF "BAD ACTORS " THAT CAME .... let alone, the DIRECTOR of this FIASCO.... who sent all the city officials...from the Mayors' office all the way down to "THE NIEGHBORHOOD ORGANIZATION!"

Evelyn and I were just discussing correlations of evil
I'm going to start analyzing the correlations between metals processing in the world and evil - it seems R2 will be near 1 to me - the people who have done the most evil in the world were all touched by metals pollution... I'm sure of that - it goes back before the Roman Empire and is a common factor in the age of exploration, crusades, and all world wars - war is the result of metals pollution and we are all polluted here.
Accept the facts and evolve this community beyond this evil era - we are alone in our toxicity and must rise above it

Dianna Hill brought up the subject of air pollution at the Mentor-Clark Block Club on Wednesday night - and she was encouraging everyone to call in and complain to the EPA about the pollution/smog/gasses/chemical/smoke they see or smell in the air they breath.
I found it almost laughable when one of them responded something like - I don't complain because we live in the city. The thought that went through my brain is - well, if we lived in the good ole clean country air, we would need to pay attention to what we breath?
I don't often comment on the air pollution simply because I don't know enough to make accurate statements, but my feelings are - the air we breath is essential to our existence on the planet. It is the one thing we can't go to the store and buy a better quality of. We're stuck with what ever people pump out into our space and the way it sort of looks is that - if we breath it and die, we're on our own. If we breath it and suffer an altered existence, it's nobody's fault. Unless it's highly detectable, there's no way of knowing who to blame -so again, we're on our own.
Do you think there would be grants that would cover the cost of gas masks for us all. There are some days when we surely do need them.
