Jobs Americans Won't Do - Carpentry for Home Building

Submitted by Jeff Buster on Sun, 11/06/2011 - 10:25.

Starting with US President Duwbya, our Government has been telling Americans that there are jobs which AMERICANS won't do.

I always wondered about these Non-American Jobs because who did these jobs in America 30 or 40 years ago?    I thought it was Americans who built the subdivisions 30 years ago.

Didn't American high school kids 30 years ago stock the lumber up to the second and third floor decks while the older American carpenters framed and raised the gable ends?

Well, that's what I thought.....maybe I am wrong.

Anyway, I thought I would begin to record here on Realneo jobs which Americans still won't do - in 2011!

The question which I didn't find asked in the research I have done is - is it the "job" that Americans won't do, or is it the impossibly low "wage" for that job that Americans won't work for?

Does America still allow slavery?  Just a new form of slavery where the slaves don't live on the plantation where they work - the slaves can pick their plantation, and the plantation owner is relieved from directly having to provide food and housing.

1.     Framing new wood housing developments is one job AMERICANS WONT DO.
