Ronald J. Alsop
News Editor and Senior Writer, The Wall Street Journal

Ronald Alsop will discuss
his latest book "The 18 Immutable Laws of Corporate Reputation:
Creating, Protecting, and Repairing Your Most Valuable Asset," a guide
to the crucial laws organizations need to follow to develop and protect
their reputations.

In "18 Immutable Laws," Alsop gives companies advice on the
following: protecting their reputation when the inevitable crisis hits;
coping with the many hazards in cyberspace; creating a consistent brand
image; establishing a culture of ethical behavior; measuring and
monitoring ever changing public image; communicating good deeds in a
credible manner; and deciding when it’s time to change their name.

Alsop is the editor of the annual "Wall Street Journal Guide to the
Top Business Schools" and writes the MBA Track column and articles
about business education, corporate reputation and marketing for the
Journal. He previously served as the Journal’s marketing columnist and
as editor of its Marketplace page, and he has written several other
books, including "The Wall Street Journal on Marketing" and "The Wall
Street Journal Almanac." He is a graduate of the Indiana University
