Public Forum on Health Disparities

You are invited to the
Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Health Braintrust "Public Forum on
Health Disparities," from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 16 in
the Wolstein Research Building auditorium.

Healthcare, medical
education diversity, electronic health technology, and access will be
among the topics discussed during the daylong CBC public forum on
health disparities.

The keynote speaker will be James L.
Phillips (MED '58), M.D., former School of Medicine administrator who
is now senior associate dean of medical education at Baylor College of
Medicine. He will be joined by a panel representing the medical,
healthcare, and healthcare policy professions for frank, insightful,
and thought-provoking dialogue.

Also featured will be
Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones (FSM '71, LAW '74) of Ohio House
District 11, and Congresswoman Donna Christiansen, M.D., of the U.S.
Virgin Islands, who chairs the CBC's Health Braintrust.
