Feel free to join the Friendship Foundation of American-Vietnamese (Hoi Ban Huu Viet-MY), this Friday evening, Dec. 10th, as we welcome Ambassador Ton Nu Thi Ninh and her high level delegation from Vietnam.

She is the Vice Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly in Vietnam. Educated at the Sorbonne, she served two decades as Ambassador to Belgium and Head of Vietnam's Mission to the EU.

Issues to be discusses will be mutual trade opportunities (including international student initiatives), human rights, integration of Vietnam into the new world economcy, etc.

With a population of 80 million, normalized trade relations with the U.S., a strong desire to build new infrastructure and develop new partnerships, and geographically well-positioned in SE Asia, Vietnam represents a business opportunity for NE Ohio.

There are talented Vietnamese Americans living in NE Ohio who know the market in Vietnam, enjoy high level business and political relationships there, and could help be conduit for NE Ohio businesses seeking a foothold in Vietnam.

Please feel free to join Cleveland's Vietnames-American business and community leaders for a complimentary light dinner of special Vietnamese foods and beverages.

The event is at Reinberger Auditorium (5209 Detroit Aveneu), 5:30 to 8 pm, Friday Evening, Dec. 10.
