Stop into FUTURE Gallery and experience the work of Guy-Vincent Ricketti and the thought-provoking Identity Remix. The Center partnered with Guy to "remix" his outdoor installation for our evolving design gallery, reframing the dialogue on race and human experience with visitors to CIA.The iconic mixed-media collection made its debut at Cleveland's Star Plaza in Playhouse Square last Fall. Show: Identity Remix Artist/Designer: Guy-Vincent Ricketti Dates: Jan 31st — March 15th, Artist Reception March 9th, 7:00-10:00pm Gallery Hours: 9am — 5pm, Monday — Friday Perspective: Identity was conceived as an ongoing project exploring cultural diversity, community, and the connectivity within. The first public installation of Identity July 28 through October 28, 2006 was designed for Star Plaza - Playhouse Square, Cleveland, Ohio. It featured six photo-based sculptures and a video installation displayed at random intervals on two jumbotrons located at Playhouse Square. New compositions have been created to symbolize the connectedness of our lives, culture, and communities. This exhibit serves to redefine our perceptions of race and the ever-shifting paradigms that occur in our lives. Sponsors: Location
