ClevelandBikes: Cleveland’s Bicycling Advocacy Organization Leads Its September Bike to Work Ride – Friday, September 29

ClevelandBikes continues its Bike to Work Program, with its final ride of the summer on Friday, September 29th. Cyclists can join ClevelandBikes ride leaders at various locations around city (see the schedule below) for the ride downtown. Even if you don't join in the ride, meet up with ClevelandBikes and other cyclists at AJ Rocco’s Espresso Bar at 8:15 a.m. For coffee and bagels and learn how you or your organization can join in your own Bike to Work activities. Free showers will be available at the Greater Cleveland YMCA (Prospect Avenue) or Tower City Fitness Center.

This program has been successful in providing bicyclists an opportunity to meet others who are choosing the healthier route and using their bikes as transportation. It also offers those cyclists with less road experience a chance to learn from experienced commuters as they ride into the city together.
ClevelandBikes, an organization that was established in November of 2003 advances and promotes all forms of bicycling as economical and healthful recreation, sport and transportation. The organization assists in the improvement of community design to focus more on healthy activities such as biking and walking, and promotes cycling safety education.

Please go to www.ClevelandBikes.org for more information on this other programs as well as information on how to join ClevelandBikes.
