I barely have time to post here or anywhere these days, as I'm working on so much for so many other people and trying to turn all that into revenues. I'm sorry you are feeling bla or blah... you and I well know life is not easy. The best news for us personally is because of my pushing the the Material Matters site we have the first sale resulting from them having an online presence, so we earned a commission and I have some money for you. This development also shows how the technology can work for May Show and the arts here. All this will grow as I have more time to put into these sites. For example, Material Matters will host the International Glass Graduate art exhibition next July and we worked on getting the technology ready for that over the weekend. This will be one of the largest arts events in the world next year, held at the Toronto Convention Center, and we're core to its success, and will earn some compensation.
I'm working on helping Alfred Engerer get a commission for a large NEON installation - we met this weekend with Phillip Smith about that and it looks good - we'll get a commission. Other sales will come - when we can bullet proof Dan's site that will generate revenues. But none of this just happens and the work is not done.
More important for this region, I just came from the Greater Cleveland Lead Advisory Council Steering Committee meeting and the Cleveland Foundation was there, which probably had something to do with dialog on lead here and on BFD. East Cleveland's Director of Economic Development was also there, which definitely was a result of our ongoing effort supporting lead eradication there. CCOAL Board Meeting next Tuesday - our support of them has helped them grow their role in overall eradication, to where they now have real funding through GCLAC.
The Intergenerational School is definitely interested to relocate to the Hough Bakery Building and I arranged a meeting last week with them, Kent State, and a major area builder, so that is moving forward. Need to find other use for the rest of the building/complex but that will come. East Cleveland's new economic development director will be a great help in finishing up this effort. With effort, we may have a role in some of this - not as some gift because we are cool but because we put in the time and made things happen.
Many other important developments with East Cleveland, including some key meetings to push forward the wireless efforts. No gifts but with more hard smart work this could trun into something major.
Lots of other developments that aren't public - sometimes blah is a state of mind separate from reality. Let's get together when you have a chance - my email is still realneo [at] inbox [dot] com (although norm [at] realinks [dot] us no longer seems to work) and I can be reached on Evelyn's phone number, which you have. . . I finally feel I'm on top of things, since being nailed by all the BS and BSers this Summer, but that dosn't mean life is easy - rather, I work 80 hours a week instead of 60 until the hard work pays off at a high enough level to ease back. That's life.

Just looking at what is on realneo right now, and I am very happy with it. I saw Susan Miller the other day, at the Meet the Bloggers with Ed Morrison, and she said she had sent my posting about solar laundromats to someone who owns laundromats in NEO suggesting he convert them to solar - that is a good thing. Evelyn has posted some great insight... we bring to NEO the only insight from the Toronto International Art Fair, and other best practices there. REALNEO is as important and interesting as ever. I'm impressed.
Not sure what you are referring to, but I do have some good news
