Lincoln West High School hosted the CDCs first annual meeting on Thursday night 10/20. It was well-attended and a great event for the folks in the respective neighborhoods--Stockyards, Clark-Fulton and Brooklyn Centre. Food by Bruno's was great.
The real highlight of the evening for me was getting to see the Lincoln West high school students perform--unfortunately, it was not really possible to film or photograph.
There were two dance performances--one with an Eastern influence by Nepalese students and one with a Latin influence by Hispanic students. This photo from the Plain Dealer gives you an idea of the talent we have in the neighborhoods near Metrohealth Hospital.
