But that would be wrong wouldn't it? To say you are minister when you are not, really. To do that to avoid a nuisance ordnance, a lie really. I think that people that convince themselves they are messengers of god are or should sincerely question themselves. What your suggesting is self ordaining to be above the law, to make money. A member of the church of self?

Guy, thanks for pointing out that there is a non-profit/religious exemption for peddler's licenses.   This would not have dawned on me even though I am aware that non-prof and religions are tax free.

So if I went to Cleveland's Public Square to introduce new users to Realneo, would the police ask me for a peddler's license? 

And since there is no profit associated with Realneo - shouldn't I qualify for a free license?  (I believe the US constitution precludes my even having to have a license in Public Square! - just the name alone is indicative)  Am I, jeff Buster, a minister?

Oengus, respectfully, what is a minister?   You put a lot of energy into all your civic posts with the clear objective of informing the public and trying to make a difference through the contribution of your experience in Cleveland. 

In my book, you, Oengus, are a minister (so coffee's on me!).   Along with Guy, a civic journalist Minister!.

thats why the cities use the wavier form and not promote the wavier so its not used a lot -

realneo should have a federal i.d. no. as i emailed jeff - thats the number all enity request - the cleveland form also states one can use their social security no. as i recall-

a federal i.d. no. is the enities social security no. that is given to a citizen - but the citizen can only get one in a life time - but any business religion enron bank corrupt or not can get get hundreds - they go out of business - and get another no. - and have divisions-

the federal i.d. no. is the no. irs uses as the tax exempt no. - if used as- non-profit -

anyone can get a federal i.d. no. per the irs form that irs will send etc. -one can even call the phone no,'s of irs listed and answer the 4 or5 simlpe questions to the irs agent and  irs will give one the no. over the phone and one sends in the form and they send one a paper copy-

A candy bar is not a tax deductable bussiness exspense.  Think about it. 

Hey I do the books and I do not comingle funds, and if people think it's good idea to, they are so wrong.

It's like screw with "the man" then call "the man" out, then what cry foul?  "I am a victum of the man" 

Please its so bad in so many ways, I am not a fool little things fly under the radar all the time, but it does not make it ok.

Getting it correct for exactly the correct reasons is self actualization, convincing yourself you have it right when you do not is dysfunction it can also be theocracy.

Collecting donations to run the site, is non-profit and legitimate. If you use the money to pay yourself then that salary is taxable. You are not the site and the site is not you.

If I give you a dollar and you buy a candy bar that dollar was subjected to your personal income tax liability.

One is about doing the correct thing when nobody knows it, the other is doing the wrong thing because you can get away with it.

You can color within the lines and be disgruntled by the requirement to do so, but scribbling all over and then saying it is how it should be….I am not feeling that.
