Monday, I watched the sun rise over the New Mexico desert to "Just Another Day"... from Another Day on Earth... the glorious new Brian Eno album... perfect for exploring new frontiers...

The Eno video is really quite beautiful in the way that it appears to be both a photo and a watercolor painting as time passes by.  What do you suppose is the cause of this effect?

Some  cool video editing software out there... times have changed since I started doing film w/ 8mm... literally cut and tape.... very hard to do after effects. With digital video, video effects are as easy as in PhotoShop (or GIMP for the Open Source - and there are lots of cool open source video editing programs).... and video editing is going online SAAS... software as a service - and 3D - so the revolution has just begun.
