Vadxx Energy to build MEDICAL WASTE BURNING FACILITY in RESIDENTIAL AREA - GUS FRANGOS will profit from poisoningSubmitted by Gone Fishin on Wed, 03/13/2013 - 03:44.
Vadxx Energy has announced plans to build a MEDICAL WASTE, tire and plastic burning facility in a residential neighborhood in Cleveland's St Clair and 79th Street area. Vadxx Energy intends to build a 10,000-square-foot facility near the intersection of St. Clair Avenue and East 79th Street, where the company will burn as many as 60 tons a day of plastic and rubber waste, the company's Chief Executive Officer Jim Garrett told City Council members at a Community and Economic Development Committee meeting Tuesday. The Ohio EPA considers Vadxx's system a minor contributor to pollution. Located on 79th and St Clair? Such an odd location and even odder to consider building this polluter in a residential area. Gus Frangos, President of the Cuyahoga County Land Bank, and his shell LLC own several parcels of land in this area - located 1/2 mile away from 79th and St Clair.
The LLC - Quinn Court Properties LLC- owns 907, 913 and 917 East 70th Street and 7009-7015 Quinn Court. The properties owned by the shell LLC were property tax delinquent for many years and only recently made the decision to pay their property taxes:

Lots of land bank property surrounds Gus Frangos' shell LLCs: I believe that Gus Frangos and his LLC - Quinn Court Properties- might have some plans for their property. Is it possible that the shell LLC has intentions of selling this land to Vaddx Energy? I believe it is a done deal. There is certainly lots of suspicious activity at Quinn Court Property LLC's numerous parcels of land located in the near vicinity of the area where Vaddx Energy intends to build their MEDICAL WASTE polluting 10,000 square foot facility - 1/2 mile away. Surely they will also need a large parking lot to accomodate their employees and dump trucks. Special driveways for the drivers dumping medical waste, tires and plastic- up to 60 TONS a day in a RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD.
Property owned by the shell LLC - Quinn Court Properties LLC
The property owned by the shell LLC certainly looks odd to have a few houses completely surrounded by vacant property. The houses appear to be in the way: The shell LLC - Quinn Court Properties LLC- also owns two parcels of land in the area below marked, "Quinn Ct":
The mortgage company sued the shell LLC and filed two foreclosures relative to Quinn Court Properties LLC. One case requested a judgment for $123,725.01 and the other foreclosure case requested a judgment for $98,702.60- both cases named Gus Frangos as a defendant. Both cases were settled and dismissed. The delinquent property taxes that were recently paid was nearly $15,000. Why would the shell LLC not walk away, as it has for other property? Why would the shell LLC want to pay it's financial obligation of over $200,000 for the above property? There is no way that Gus Frangos was not aware of Vadxx Energy's plan to build this facility- conveniently located where Quinn Court Property LLC owns several parcels of land- in a residential neighborhood. Shame on you MAYOR FRANK JACKSON for not protecting your people from this pollution so that Gus Frangos can make a buck on his shell properties.

Gasify toxic materials,,,
Neil Seldman, president of the Washington D.C.-based Institute for Local Self Reliance, said in an interview Tuesday that the pyrolysis and gasification technologies are equally harmful to the environment.
"It is the exact same bill of goods," Seldman said. "Burning tires emits toxic chemicals. Plastics are toxic, medical waste is toxic. They are trying to gasify toxic materials."

Quinn Court - the road to greed and pollution
Quinn Court conveniently heads straight to the proposed area where Vadxx Energy will be built.
It appears that Quinn Court and Detour Avenue will be the entrance to the polluter building.
Vadxx has to accomodate neighboring houses to dump their waste.
They can't have heavy and loud trucks disturbing the peace of nearby residents while bringing in the 60 TONS of waste that will be burned daily in a residential neighborhood.
Quinn Court ( the red spot marked 'A' ) is conveniently located near the 'white arrow' where the EPA has issued the permit for Liberation Capital Vadxx Cleveland LLC- 7901 St. Clair.
I wonder who decided on this residential location for building this poison burning plant? Cleveland has tons of vacant industrial buildings and empty lots scattered throughout the city- in NON RESEDENTIAL areas.
Probably the same person that failed to pay property taxes FOR YEARS- despite his salary being paid -in part- by the collection of delinquent property taxes.

Why is the con artist not screaming, "Not in MY backyard!!!" when the property is literally in his backyard?
Any person with common sense knows that building this waste burning facility will greatly reduce surrounding property value. Big fancy development is OUT of the picture.
Who in their right mind would want to live within 1/2 mile of this facility- where Gus Frangos' LLC shell property is located?
I wonder who had their hand in the cookie jar- locating this polluter which intends to burn MEDICAL WASTE, TIRES and PLASTIC in a RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD?
I suggest building this polluter in Hudson, Ohio. Wonder how the con artist would like that?

North Coast Opportunities (NCO) Technology Fund
(CLEVELAND) September 17, 2009 -- Vadxx Energy, LLC, a manufacturer of synthetic crude oil, natural gas, and activated carbon headquartered in Bedford Heights, Ohio, is the sixth recipient of Cuyahoga County’s Northcoast Opportunities (NCO) Technology Fund. The $120,000 loan will help the company reconstruct and operate a synthetic crude oil manufacturing pilot plant and perform product testing and analysis. The total cost of the pilot project is $250,000. In addition to Cuyahoga County NCO funding of $120,000, Vadxx Energy has received funding of $100,000 from the Great Lakes Innovation Fund (GLIDE) and $30,000 in other equity.

Waste-to-energy Cleveland plant: Points to ponder regarding Vadxx Energy: letter to the editor
Regarding the tire-and-plastic-burning plant planned for the East Side of Cleveland, here are a few points to consider:
1. Does it really matter how "picky" the company is about the tires, plastics and medical waste entering its chamber? Sterilized or not, everything Vadxx will be heating up is made of toxins.
2. So, the exhaust is "clear and odor-free" -- does that tell us anything about exposure to toxins? If "colorless and odorless" equals "safe," then there's no reason to have carbon monoxide detectors.
3. It is disturbing that any company can plop itself down in a residential area and decide, "as a courtesy," how much it wants to engage with city representatives or residents regarding its operations. Vadxx executives do not live in the neighborhood and have nothing but a financial interest in it. Yet, the company, as a corporation, possesses the same constitutional rights as persons and, therefore, can pollute the air that it does not have to breathe.

Preparing to Pollute- Vadxx Energy
East 79th and St Clair area which is the proposed site for Vadxx Energy
Just a few feet away from Vadxx Energy's location is a lot for dozens of school busses.
No word on Vadxx Energy's plan to address residue from burning medical waste, tires and plastic.
A community garden approximately one block away from Vadxx Energy.
Lots of houses surround Vadxx Energy's proposed site to build this facility in a residential neighborhood.
"This is Death Valley where they are now putting it."
"It seems like these permits are being handed out like there's no tomorrow," she said. "I wonder, why not build this in Gates Mills if it's so safe? This is Death Valley where they are now putting it."

Report this one to Cuyahoga Inspector General? NO
No, I can not waste any more of my time reporting to those that ignore my complaint. I am too busy investigating the con artists myself and don't have time to waste.
I made a complaint in August 2012 relative to Gus Frangos and was assured my complaint would be handled. I have the complaint documentation and response in writing.
I had to go over the head of county officials since they have ignored my complaint.
Meanwhile, during the 7 month period of silence relative to my complaint, I had to waste my own time investigating Gus Frangos, the Cuyahoga County Land Bank, and other thieves myself.
And the issue has now grown much larger than when initially reported- since I had to investigate MYSELF.
It is my understanding that these assholes are wasting their time investigating ME and have been for awhile now.
It must be a boring investigation by investigating ME. Sitting here in my own house, using my own computer and internet service on my OWN time.
Watching me leave and where I go. Not much to watch really. I spend a lot of time at home doing THEIR job of investigating MY complaint.
They should spend their time and resources investigating Gus Frangos. That's where the action is.
However, my freedom of speech rights have more protection than others. I know my rights and I am not afraid to speak the truth when it is ignored by others.
I have every right to speak out against the government on matters of PUBLIC CONCERN and will continue exercising my rights.
My attorney and I are waiting and will contact ACLU when necessary.

No interest in this slum property for years- and now there is?
The slum property owned by Quinn Court Properties LLC has shown no interest in the numerous properties that have blighted an entire neighborhood for years.
No mortgage or property taxes paid for years.
No maintenance for years.
The only interest was collecting rent.
Why the sudden interest in this slum property located conveniently near Vadxx?
Two cases for lots of money were recently settled:
Why was Cuayhoga County Community Development made a party to this case? Did they give Gus FRangos money for these dumps?
Over $200,000 was requested for these two cases, and they were both settled.
Mortgage releases were recently filed.
Thousands in delinquent property taxes that were not paid for many years were suddenly paid.
Why would Frangos spend this kind of money to save this slum property? He has big plans for this property as it not worth two cents. It will cost more money to demolish these dumps then the land located on East 70th and St. Clair and Quinn Court is worth. Unless- Gus Frangos has other intentions for these slum dumps:
