READ Ruth Reichl and you will know that she is REALNEO.

When I first read her coming-of-age memoir Tender at the Bone, I laughed and laughed, and cried. We all make bad choices in life. Her book helped me to move on.  She learned, from experience, how to live well and to find daily joy (and, how CLEVELAND, it involves FOOD!).

So, when I recently picked up Not Becoming My Mother, I was startled to find that Ruth Reichl does indeed have a real Cleveland connection.  Her maternal grandparents Emil and Mollie Brudno and her mother Miriam Brudno all grew up in Cleveland!
