about half of the pollutants that cause smog in the Toronto region come from the U.S., meaning Ohioans effect Toronto's air quality nearly as much as Torontonians.

I intend to attend and testify at this EPA Public Hearing announced below - I am in favor of reducing Interstate Transport of Ozone and Fine Particle Pollution in every way possible, from the point sources out. My appropriate session is in EPA Region 5, in Chicago - there are also sessions in Philladelphia and Atlanta.

I encourage all environmentalists WORLDWIDE concerned about INTERSTATE TRANSPORT of pollution across the planet to attend one of these meetings or formally express your concerns in writing.

Those who are informed about public health and social welfare in my region share concerns about excessive source point pollution in Northeast Ohio, transporting across our community, as seen in the video below - produced by Mattie Reitman of the Sierra Club Beyond Coal Campaign, from a recent EPA Hearing in Cleveland, Ohio to challenge a license request from the coal-burning "Non-Profit, Private, Public-good" MCCO Foundation-owned powerplant that serves such quasi-private power needs as at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals... they want to guarantee their right to burn dirty coal dirty for at least five more years - sending most of 20,000 tons or so of their pollution INTERSTATE BABY!

One of my primary concerns is that pollution is not effectively monitored and managed in Ohio, as I introduce in my testimony above.

I shall expand upon my concerns in Chicago next week, and hope you shall attend and express your concerns about Interstate Transport of Ozone and Fine Particle Pollution to the EPA as well.

EPA To Hold Public Hearings on Proposed Rule to Reduce Interstate Transport of Ozone and Fine Particle Pollution

Canadian pollution travels this way too

We also need to hold the Canadian's responsible for their impact in our non-attainment areas.  I'm no meteorologist, but the prevailing winds do not travel from the south 100% of the time.  Any weather from the WNW, NW, N, NE, and ENE will impact Cuyahoga Counties compliance limits.

TRUTH be told.

Excellent point about Canadian pollution

Excellent point about Canadian pollution and we should work closely with the Canadians to address that - thanks
