Please register by Tuesday January 6. Since 1975, the federal Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) has been available to working class families in the U.S. It can increase household income by as much as $4,000 in certain cases. Yet an estimated 242,000 families in Ohio and about 48,000 in Cleveland do not claim their credits.
