KILLING DEFINES U.S. SUCCESS
Submitted by Jeff Buster on Sat, 06/10/2006 - 14:59.
It is a sad day (and week) when our country defines its success and global prowess by who we are able to kill (with a bit of "collateral" damage). When one considers the paranoid, self serving, and repugnant subjects which have taken up the Congressional and National agenda this week while the citizenry barely raised an eyebrow, then George Orwell wasn't writing fiction after all.

Living with war...
More than a song for Cleveland today, now... thanks to Neil Young for speaking out on Living With War... could anyone come up with a rewrite for "Impeach the mayor of Cleveland Heights"... for now "Impeach the President"
"Impeach the President"
Let’s impeach the president for lying
And leading our country into war
Abusing all the power that we gave him
And shipping all our money out the door
He’s the man who hired all the criminals
The White House shadows who hide behind closed doors
And bend the facts to fit with their new stories
Of why we have to send our men to war
Let’s impeach the president for spying
On citizens inside their own homes
Breaking every law in the country
By tapping our computers and telephones
What if Al Qaeda blew up the levees
Would New Orleans have been safer that way
Sheltered by our government’s protection
Or was someone just not home that day?
Let’s impeach the president
For hijacking our religion and using it to get elected
Dividing our country into colors
And still leaving black people neglected
Thank god he’s cracking down on steroids
Since he sold his old baseball team
There’s lot of people looking at big trouble
But of course the president is clean
Thank God
LIVING WITH WAR........a photo documentary.......This piece features the
photographs and voice of Detroit Free Press Photographer, David P. Gilkey.
David took the photo of the C-17 cargo plane that had been converted to
a flying hospital which appeared in USA Today in March 06. That photo was
a catalyst causing LIVING WITH WAR to be written and recorded.
This photo documentary paints a very good portrait of what it was like for
someone to actually "live with war" while imbedded with the troops in Iraq.

40,000 dead civilians means more than a sad day... week
As of June 02, 2006... add a few hundred per week... from Iraq Body Count
The Iraq war is gonna make me rich!
I got the following spam that is the most disturbing yet - where do these people come from? Anyways, I though I'd show how bad people use information technology at the worst, as we develop the best... sick... do people really fall for this or is it just some government conspiracy to trash cyberspace?
