why Muslims murder christians (us) - muslims obey the socalled 'letter of the law" Christians don't - the Septuagint

Submitted by Quest-News-Serv... on Sat, 01/30/2010 - 21:38.

Some people (including some Christians, most Jews, and nearly all Muslims) understand their Scriptures to be the exact words of God. They believe that their Scriptures have been miraculously preserved to be in exactly the state God created them, because any change would represent the corruption of the word of God.

But doesn't ANY difference affect the reliability of the Bible?

It depends how you understand Scripture.

TWDC'S NEW PROPOSED BY-LAW AND ARTICLES OF INCORPORATION DID NOT MAKE THE GRADE

Submitted by jerleen1 on Fri, 01/29/2010 - 18:24.

The Tremont West Development Corp. (TWDC) Annual Membership/Election of new board members meeting went off last night without incident.  It was the second meeting in two months calling for members to vote in favor of the proposed changes to the by-laws and Articles of Incorporation.

When quorum was not obtained at the special meeting held in November, TWDC staff and board members worked dilligently at purging a few hundred names from the membership list.  This lowered the number of members currently registered to approximately 517.

Question of the Day: Should We Send Pollution to Polluters?

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Fri, 01/29/2010 - 02:59.

I've been thinking lead poisoning victims should send letters containing lead dust samples to the homes of people who clearly don't consider lead poisoning a serious matter. What do you think? Anything wrong with sending a perfectly legal substance that is spewed upon the public by Mittal and Cleveland Thermal to the families of the CEOs of the companies and enterprises that buy dirty power and steel from them?

How about sending lead to the politicians who vote for dirty coal burning, like the Cleveland City Council members who voted for AMP?

Asian Carp Solution BRAINSTORM!!!

Ugly Little Bastard

These asian carp have me very concerned.  Bubble nets, poisons, sounding devices and physical barriers only slow these little bastards down.  We, as defenders of all the Great Lake resources, must brainstorm a better way to rid these little devils from their pending invasion.

I'll start the brainstorm.

I didn't know I needed to know all that!

Submitted by rnojonson on Thu, 01/28/2010 - 15:11.

I am a IT person, that is, I've been trained in that direction. Yes, Information Technology the wave of the future and the backbone of business. As of late there are no wavy backbones!

You go to school to get the geist of the IT world but when it comes time to get a job, you are unequipped to work. Firstly HR people only read the job descriptions, if you don't fit you're out. Then companies don't want to train you if you are short on experience. Let's examine this a little closer.
