At City Club Holiday Annual Meeting and Open House

The City Club of Cleveland held a gracious holiday party and annual meeting
for the community it has served so well, since 1912, and it appeared well over
100 of today's community leaders turned out to enjoy this great institution and
each other, and learn plans for the future.

Proving there's still plenty of life in downtown Cleveland, supporters young
and elder made a point to show their support for this American bastion of free
think and intellectual thought, and we were treated to a festive feast and
great world-music, along with the good company of all in attendance.

I was too busy meeting old and new friends to sit in on the annual meeting,
so I'll leave notes on that to other attendees. I do want to share my City Club
experience by saying the Club breaks down all barriers and stereotypes of this
region, as City Year student representatives assemble with veteran
business-folk to discuss local and global experiences and insight not found
anywhere else in town. Add to that mix the world-class speakers the Club has
brought to town for nearly a century, and the openness and reasonableness of
their membership, and it is safe to say this is one of the most valuable
resources in the community and world.

REALNEO will post all City Club events to the
event calendar and encourages everyone to attend their presentations and add
content on them here. If you cannot attend, the City Club broadcasts their
events
live on WCLV radio and on replays presentations on TV each Sunday - and
REALNEO affiliates will post as much related insight here as possible. So, no
one has an excuse to miss out on the City Club experience.
