Syrian war - Migrants the most powerful weapon

The Syrian conflict has been going on for about four and a half years.

Immigration, refugees, aliens, migrants, asylum seekers…whatever we name them, the people who are fleeing Syria towards Europe are the only force which has been able to interest countries un-involved in the Syrian conflict in trying to help resolve the conflict in Syria.

Because of the hundreds of thousands of Syrians leaving Syria and choking the borders of many European countries - finally there’s so much “what are we going to do with all these refugees” pressure on the Euro nations that   representatives of Russia, USA, Turkey, Iran,  and Saudi Arabia met to discuss means of potentially quelling the Syrian conflict.

The irony is:     All the modern weapons supplied by Russia, the USA - and everyone else from outside Syria – haven’t brought about much of a change in the balance of power inside Syria – the war goes on and on.

Instead, the migration of people away from Syria and into neighboring European nations appears to be the force that may lead to some sanity imposed on Syria.    Masses of migrants are so upsetting to the comfortable lives of those folks not in conflict - the migrants become the catalyst for the imposition of peace.
