The reason behind the success of Drupal is because of its many benefits. First, it is search engine friendly. It provides better control to you URL structure. It gives your website better ranking in the search engines because it can customize your content with clean URL. Besides that, it has something called CCK (Content Construction Kit) that acts as a tool that let you creates different types of content with ease. You can create new stories, blog post, tutorials and these are just to name a few. This is something that other CMS cannot provide you. In addition, you do not need to be an expert to be able to use this. Any newcomer or newbie will be able to use this.

With Drupal, you will have revision control that lets you save a new version when you make any changes. So, if you do not like the new version, you can revert to the old version any time. Another added value of Drupal is its advanced categorization that easily organizes contents depending on its type. This is done by tagging contents based on categories. This feature makes keyword targeting an easier task when it is combined with CCK and view Modules feature.

For community-based websites, users can benefit from its user management systems. Users will have no limits regarding their access levelling controlling the websites functionality. Users can disabled the advanced management system in the beginning and only activate it once the website has reach a certain size.

Why Drupal?

Thanks for the reminder--REALNEO runs on Drupal.  For transparency and accountability--I hope to see all of NEO run on this platform.
