In the Guren Gallery of the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, an exhibition of sculpture by Barbara Stanczak... "I take pleasure in the beauty and wonder of the earth," says Cleveland-based sculptor and CIA professor Barbara Stanczak, "and my sculptures are an expression of gratitude, a search for parallel, tangible, formal experiences that can be shared with others."

Stanczak's latest exhibition is also the first show in the Guren Gallery to feature sculpture. The work is sure to stimulate and delight visitors throughout the fall.

The works in "Refections on Nature," like most of Stanczak's work, are sculpted from mainly nature-made materials, materials "that have the history of the earth and the story of the lifecycle imprinted in its veins and textures."

Exhibition opens September 29th and runs through November 19th 2006.

See four of Barbara's works at CIA faculty show

I was really impressed by the four recent sculptures Barbara Stanczak features at the CIA faculty show... really beautiful. I look forward to seeing a full exhibition at the Botanical Garden.
