Although it isn't on the City Council agenda for tonight, and although the power point presentations from CPP, AMP, and ION (While at the hearing I took the photo above of one slide from the ION power point - ION  were consultants hired by the City Council) aren’t yet up on the City Council Public Utilities Committee web site like Matt Zone on Friday said they would be, and although the Committee hasn’t been able to vote on AMP….and hasn’t had one business day to discuss the issue with other Councilpersons….

It is entirely possible that the City Council will take up a vote tonight to stay in – or leave the proposed 50 year AMP – Ohio Meigs County coal fired generator consortium.

So tonight might be a good time to come early and speak with a few City Councilors and persuade them to vote to withdraw from the AMP contract.  Council is scheduled to start at 7:00pm.
