Susan Goethel Campbell, our 2008 juror, had this to say about the show:

"The process of selecting work for this exhibition was a great opportunity for me to view multiple perspectives by women artists across the country. I spent a good deal of time reviewing the submissions and examining the technical, conceptual and aesthetic aspects of all the work and chose to highlight several of them for this exhibition. These themes include ideas about the body, identity and loss. In addition, I selected work that underscored for me a love of process and creating. Several of these works employed non-traditional materials such as sugar, crochet and q-tips allowingfor new associations to be made with the everyday."
