01/02/2006 - 09:00 01/02/2006 - 17:00 Etc/GMT-4 The Arts and Crafts Movement in Europe and America, 1880-1920: Design for the Modern World The Cleveland Museum of Art Phone Numbers: Description: Including more than 300 influential objects created in all media between 1880 and 1920, from ceramic and metalwork to textiles and works on paper, this exhibition demonstrates the evolution of the object and the way that the object affected one’s life during this period of time, advancing the dawn of the modern age. The exhibition opened at LACMA from Dec. 19, 2004, to April 3, 2005, and the Milwaukee Museum of Art from May 19 to Sept. 5, 2005, before arriving at CMA. General admission to the exhibition is $7; $5 for children and seniors 65 and over; $4 for groups of 15 or more. CMA members enter free.
