At least they have some organic products...
I always try to shop from local companies, from farmers markets to Heinens and Dave's, and all offer some organic products... seems more every day. When I must, I go to the Giant Eagle in Lakewood, and they do have some organic dairy products. They also have some private brand organic packaged products - mostly that "President's Choice" type stuff - which I do not buy. I do not trust all organic and am trying to figure out what brands are actually from socially conscious growers and producers.
BTW - is that one of those gas wasting polluting mobile billboard trucks?

From store lighting and refrigeration to purchasing gas and electric commodities to utility auditing, responsible energy management helps keep Giant Eagle in business. Our Conservation Department is constantly researching and evaluating new developments that will save natural resources while making the Giant Eagle stores a more pleasant environment in which to shop. Giant Eagle is a member of Professional Recyclers of PA (PROP).
Giant Eagle also participates in external recycling efforts. Select Giant Eagle locations partner with the City of Pittsburgh during annual county phone book recycling drives.
Community Environmental Outreach
Giant Eagle supports the education efforts of market area environmental organizations. From sponsoring teacher and student workshops to funding local household/hazardous waste and community cleanup drives Giant Eagle believes in environmental education. This year we're sponsoring the following environmental education programs:
