North Coast Harbor Pedestrian Bridge: Vote for your favorite bridge design

Federal funding has been secured to develop an iconic pedestrian bridge linking the finger pier from Dock 32 and the southwest corner of Voinovich Park fully connecting the existing waterside promenade around North Coast Harbor. To see concepts for a movable bridge click on the images below.

 Many times when you read about polluters, the motivation for  polluters is to save money - make more profit.  Water polluters do this by dumping toxins into storm drains, sewers, or watercourses.   Air polluters save money by discharging particulate and chemical pollution out their chimneys.

Hello sir, this is David Cygan.  I met you at lincoln park in tremont a few weeks ago.  I told you my story.  I am sleeping in a tent in the flats and am looking to find some help.  I told you that I need money for laundry and hygene products.  Also, I have written a self-help book that I have with me.  I have just 5 copies. Cuyahoga County taxpayers now have “contributed” some $68 million for the proposed Medical Mart project. I guess all the great needs of this area have been superseded by special interests again.

I just received applications and information for a  NEW City program for Seniors (60+). 

The Cleveland Tree Assistance Program for Seniors (CTAPS) in partnership with the Department of Aging, Parks/Rec and Properties and Community Development has a new short term program to assist seniors with limited income with hazardous tree and branch removal.  This program has been made possible through funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

With just days remaining before Congress returns to D.C. to tackle health insurance reform, we're organizing our biggest push yet to show local support for change -- our "Health Insurance Reform Now: Let's Get It Done!" events.

As you can clearly see, there are signs posted that no trucks are permitted to go down Weat 14th Street.  They don't care how fast they go as long as the keep going South or West 480.

The only speed signs posted are yellow caution 15mph signs - one on West 14th a couple hundred feet before you enter the roundabout and one as you come off of 176 coming North on to the roundabout. 

A physics teacher in high school, once told the students that while one grasshopper on the railroad tracks wouldn’t slow a train very much, a billion of them would .   With that thought in mind, read the following, obviously written by a good American.

Tremont Arts & Cultural Festival - The Eleventh Annual Tremont Arts and Cultural Festival returns to Lincoln Park. The mission of the Festival is to celebrate the cultural and artistic diversity of Tremont and Greater Cleveland by encouraging the artistic and cultural endeavors of its visual and performing artists.

This is the scene on the "ring of death" today.  It took big huge tow trucks and the Air Cushion Recovery System hours to get this big truck back on it's wheels.  Several police cruisers were strategically parked creating a blockade while a number of Police Officers attempted to direct the traffic roundabout the roundabout.
