Albert Einsentaedt's iconic V-J day photograph of a US sailor kissing a US nurse in Times Square was in black and white -  captivating every viewer none the less.  

Eduardo Kobra's color laced repication on the north facing brick wall of an old building on the east side of the High Line pedestrian walkway can certainly warm up a February day.   More info re: Mr. Kobra here at kuriositas.com.   Too bad art along the High Line is all sponsored, and not spontaneous graffiti, IMHO.
