Well, Guy won't find any minute listening devices inside this pillow but maybe it  will serve as a small reminder that he and Yogi are two of Tremont's shinning stars.

Whether they took your pillows or not Guy,  here's one you'll remember.  It's a tribute to your run for the TWDC Board last year and the story we got out in the December issue of the Plain Press.

Jeff, I was unsuccessful in posting with the proper topic - so maybe I did follow instruction very well.

Holiday Gift Ideas!

The perfect holiday gift ideas right here at REALNEO!  Thanks Guy.  I will place my pillow order with Jerleen :)

Ok Guy thanks you for so

Ok Guy thanks you for so many wonderful thoughts but really, the pillow is a gift that I had a barral of fun making - I love to sew and make fun stuff that make people smile - and really, there is no pay - this is 110% a gift.  I am always hooking somebody up with something that is out of the ordinary and that is my enjoyment.  Has been for many many years.  A couple of names you have mentioned are already on list for gifts - and gifts only - I'm just waiting for the right picture.

I have had a sewing business out of my home for more than 40 years but it has been a very private business.  My customers were all private and I sold to craft shows.  For many years I belonged to a group call the 'Kings Daughters" and we made aprons and sent them to missionaries in other countries.  If any body remembers the store "Gaylords"  I used to buy stacks of fabric from them and take it to Virginia to the ladies that also sewed and made things for the missionaries.  We also made baby quilts and stuff and mailed to missionaries.  I used to send sewing supplies to a littlle girl named Sarah in Africa.  Sometimes it took three or four months for her to get the materials.

Back in the seventies I used to help buy fabrics also from Gaylords and Sayers and cut quilt patters and send them to the Navajo tribes in Arizona- they wanted to make their own quilts but had a hard time getting the fabric.

I have made christening gowns for friends of friends that have been mailed to Cincinnati, Louisanna, Florida, Oregan, Ohio, Wiscousin.    I have people from Virginia, W. Va, Florida, Kentucky that order Aprons.  so I do have a bit of a busy schedule from time to time.  Not so much in the past few years because I'v gotten caught up in politics.  Today, somebody has me on a nostalgic trip.

I made matching T-shirts for my brother and his wife for wedding presents.  On his to her I put a picture of him on his Harley and printed - "Save a Horse ----and A Cowboy.... Ride This"  and then on his for himself, I put a picture of him standing in front  of his big semi with his hand on the hood which said - "I'm just a Country Boy.... Get in My Rig and I'll Take you for a Ride"

Pillows for Peace

..or just sleep with the one you love!  Really, Jerleen, I think that Guy is on to something :)

I think more likely off

I think more likely off something.

He certainly has some

He certainly has some colorful ideas.  Making the pillows can be a little costly.  By  the time you figure in the cost of the ink, the transfer paper, the stuffing, material, batting, and time, and then if you want to add a little lace or fringe you can be looking anywhere from $15 -$20 for an approx 14" to 16" square pillow.

When you're making your own personal gifts, you can be as creative as you like and have loads of fun.  I made my granddaughter a big pillow for her birthday and I used princess material, but I also took one of her photos for a center square, and then took a number of photos from birth until her 6th birthday and cut them in to different shapes, placed them all around the center photo and laced it all up with ribbons and bows - she thinks it's the greatest.

Point being, it's a good idea but how many people would be willing to pay that kind of price for one pillow?
