In the past 2 or 3 galvanized 5 gallon buckets hung on spiles on each maple trunk.  Today the spiles are plastic and are connected to one pallet sized plastic tank - which is pumped out into a mobile tanker and taken to the sugar house.   Today the afternoon sunlight illuminated the plastic tubes so they looked like blue neon,  all were stretched tight so there are no bellies in the lines.   The woods looks like a hospital with lots of IV lines between the tree trunks.   Too modern to maintain the right feng shui?  What do you think?
