When businessmen hear the term “open source” software, it often implies another meaning – "free" software. Although open source VoIP software is possible to download and use for free, it doesn’t mean that there won't be extra expenses for its support or updates. First thing you have to remember, is that once you choose an open source VoIP solution you save only on the software license but additional costs might arise unexpectedly.

The Social Sciences Department of the Cleveland Public Library hold their book club discussion on Thursday, April 8, 2010. Our discussion will be held in the Social Sciences Department where we will discuss the book entitled: A Child Called "It": One Child's Courage to Survive, by Dave Pelzer.

I was fortunate today to run into Gary Murphy--poet, troubador, griot--and always, the dapper gentleman. 

Mr. Murphy makes his living by helping folks find the words they need to express the joys, sorrows, trials and tribulations of life--weddings, funerals, birthdays.  He is a travellin' man.  We both enjoyed the ride today. 

Mr. Murphy has helped to work poetry sessions in my neighborhood--more to come.

Your comments about Henry make me think about you too, Guy. Both you and Henry are community activists who put your thoughts into action. You run for the board, you come to meetings, you engage with others in a respectful, non hateful, let's get it done kind of way. I will always respect you and Henry for that. You don't anonymously tear people down, you participate and make things better. And I thank you for that.

I wake up each morning knowing my family is still harmed by lead. I deal with that all day. I feel terrible all night, until I may sleep. I sleep poorly, in sadness. I awake to another day harmed by lead poisoning.

Why should any "community leaders" feel better any morning? 1,000s MORE of their citizens feel as bad as I do each year, because their leaders have done a poor jiob addressing lead poisoning, and it hit 1,000s of children and their families right between the eyes.
