Steps for Places of Assembly to take to become legally compliant

Submitted by Henry Senyak on Sun, 05/02/2010 - 01:25.
The procedure in becoming legal.

This is a multiple faceted problem. I am sure they do not even have a Certificate of Occupancy for a assembly use. Which means even before any licensing style permits can be issued the operator must go down to City Hall to the Building and Housing Records Room. This may even require the owner of the building to be involved.

1) First find out the last legal use on the suite the operation is located.

ODOT Vegetative Screening Site Plans for Tremont (West side of the highway embankment)

Submitted by Henry Senyak on Mon, 12/14/2009 - 10:49.

I am attatching two PDF Site Plans. These were sent to me by ODOT late last week.

You will see close to 375 new trees are planned.

7 different style deciduous trees.

2 different style evergreen trees.

Additions incorporated into the plans after the last meeting with neighborhood stakeholders.

1) Dead and potentially hazardous trees will be removed. (Trees that have the possibility to fall or are growing at a severe angle) Additional new trees will replace these locations on a one to one basis. (These locations are not counted in the site plan totals).

Councilman Joe Santiago is pissing our tax dollars away - What is wrong with this picture?

Submitted by Henry Senyak on Tue, 06/09/2009 - 23:55.

I am sure this will be supported by Action Jackson & Marty Sweeney!

WHY does not Sweeney fit the bill for this out of his Campaign Account or dig into the Council Leadership fund. I was at City Council Last night Santiago left about 40 minutes before the meeting was over, he got his photo op with the GLBT and split.  Action Jackson can spread his Campaign money too.

The million dollar question could have Frank Giglio been screwed?

Submitted by Henry Senyak on Wed, 03/25/2009 - 18:13.

What a interesting parallel to the story in today's PD about the Federal Charges against a Cleveland Building and Housing Inspector. Lets recall the long list of electrical violations at Frank Giglio's house. Then I ask you to review the attached PDF and let you come to your own conclusions.

Small Edit I am going to add a picture file taken at the grand opening of La Copa Nightclub on Clark. I think you will see some faces you may know.

#2 a Email regarding La Copa.

Ward 14 Councilman Joe Santiago continues to have a high opinion of his Ward.

Submitted by Henry Senyak on Thu, 02/12/2009 - 00:28.

Green Technology, Joe you support Green Tech?, But you will eventually support the Bodner Zoning Variance just a few short blocks away? Just how many more votes do you want to loose in Ward 14 precinct T?  What kind of campaign will you mount with only $156.00 in your campaign chest?

At several prior BOZA hearing Joe stated other areas are blighted. Joe Santiago believes all of Ward 14 is blighted. When will he stop insulting the people he was elected to represent? November 2009 is coming real soon to a theatre near you!!!

Robbery at Gunpoint early this morning in Tremont

Submitted by Henry Senyak on Mon, 12/22/2008 - 10:22.
I want to just bring it to everyone's attention unfortunately last night three thugs robbed a employee of the Tremont Tap House at gunpoint in their rear parking lot.
Two African American and one Caucasian jumped out of a parked van that was waiting for the employee when he retrieved something from his parked car. One had a pistol and the other was holding a Ak-47.
They never went inside the tavern.
