I read this article and wondered would something like this work in Lake Erie?  Would it be better to have underwater turnbines?  Maybe we should look at Verticle Axis wind turnbines for our lake.  They are safer for birds, bat, and bee's... but maybe the underwater slow rotaing turbines that are "environmentally benig" would be the best option to sustainably use our lake?
