Happy thoughts on a blue Sunday

Coloring my world. I am thinking about the recommendation of neighbor Anthony Green to find the jazz in Cleveland.  He steers me to Jazz28, which, lo and behold, can be found on Cleveland's west side.

I am going to make a bike trek there soon, and in the meantime, the Cleveland Jazz Project motivates me to clean my house on a blue Sunday.

I love your clouds.

 I love your clouds, yum.

I watched 15 minutes of the news with my son and a hot cup of coffee. He is such a beautiful child (27 but still a child). After he left, I've been in the kitchen cooking. I love cooking with my fresh eggs - sheer pleasure. I had a nice long talk and tea with my friend, raked the back yard and moved the dead xmas tree so the hens could go freaky digging the bugs and I'm loving our almost 3 week old chick, Reginald (Regina?) who is now proudly propping on the edge of the hen house with mama Alice. I can't stop walking out on to the back porch just to look at him (her).

Isn't it funny how the simplest things can bring such great pleasure?

Oh - and of course I'm blogging intermittently (my husband has started to poke fun at me).

Greenburg PA

These clouds were found in Greensburg PA, your hometown, Mizz Dbra.

Thank you to you, Bill, the dogs, the cats, and most of all, the chickens and roosters for your wonderful hospitality today.
