Three weeks floating out at sea after the tsunami of Japan, this spectacularly smart, strong, wily, lucky, practical, survivor is recognized by humans who came down from helicopters. Thank you humans for going out of your way for another animal!. How is it that this canine had it together to last 3 weeks with no fresh water, no food, standing on a piece of wood in the water, night, day, night, day, ---what kept this spectactular living thing going? Anyway, seeing this as a Japanese Coast Guard news handout which was picked up by Reuters made my Friday. We humans think we are the end all be all? Let's go to see....
