Bridge & Subway Tour

Rare, twice-a-year tour of the lower level of the Veterans Memorial (Detroit-Superior) Bridge & Subway, conducted by the Cuyahoga County Engineer, on Sat 5/27 from 9AM - 3PM. No reservation necessary, just show up on the NE corner of the West end of the bridge. Last year, 2000 people toured. Next tour 9/2/06. 348-3900/3901 http://www.cuyctyengineers.org/subway_tour.htm

Location

DETROIT SUPERIOR "VETERANS" BRIDGE CLEVELAND

Subway tour is great - and right by Spaces and the Market

This will get you in the mood to save some old Cleveland landmarks - go for this free "tour", which is really just an excuse to open up the awesome lower deck of the Superior Bridge and see where the streetcars ran - there are old streetcars, a historic video the runs the old lines, so you can see how awesome Cleveland and the area were back in the day. I've been to this befere but I think I'll go again - just for a quick look and some pictures for REALNEO.

Suggestion - if you go to this, stop by Spaces for the cool Afrofuturism show, and the West Side Market is right down W25th so a natural on the route home.
