CUYAHOGA COUNTY, Ohio. December 20, 2012 - Cuyahoga County Fiscal Officer Wade Steen announces Cuyahoga County's Annual Tax Lien Sale. The sale will be held Friday, May 31, 2013. Interested parties have until 9:00 a.m. on May 31 to submit bids. Bidding requirement documents must be submitted to the county no later than than May 30, 2013.

Gus Franogs - legislation on delinquent property taxes
Gus Frangos, president of the Cuyahoga County Land Bank, was the primary drafter of Ohio’s House Bill 294 and S.B. 353 establishing enhanced-capacity County Land Banks, and expedited administrative tax foreclosure policy.
In September 2004, Mr. Frangos was retained by the Cuyahoga County Treasurer to craft legislation to help expedite the tax foreclosure process, specifically on vacant and abandoned properties. These efforts resulted in the passage of H.B. 293, H.B. 294. These are photographs of several properties that are owned by Gus Frangos shell LLC, Quinn Court Properties.
The houses are all similar in appearance- small white houses- and each and every single house is in the same condition.
Not one single case filed in Housing Court for housing code violations.
As a matter of fact, Gus Frangos was still renting the property at 7012 Quinn Court and 907 East 70th until just recently.
In 2012, two evictions were filed relative to these two properties. What kind of greedy slum lord is Gus Frangos?

Is Gus Frangos , President of the Cuyahoga County Land Bank, really a solution to the foreclosure crisis, or is Frangos nothing more than a con artist who has actually contributed to the foreclosure crisis?
In my opinion - which is based upon the following information obtained via public records- Gus Frangos is nothing more than a con artist.
A con artist in charge of all of Cuyahoga County tax payer's property. A very risky situation.
The above property is located at 6311 St Clair Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. According to county records, Gus Frangos was the sole owner of this property prior to Gus Frangos incorporating a LLC and transferring the property to the self-created LLC, 6311 St Clair LLC.
Gus Frangos obtained a mortgage on this property and agreed to be 'individually' responsible for the repayment of the mortgage in the amount of $98,231.00
Gus Frangos failed to repay the loan and a lawsuit was filed against Frangos, Case No. CV 12 780529.
According to county records, the property located at 6311 St Clair is tax delinquent in the amount of $6,875.22.
The above property is located at 1188 East 61st Street in Cleveland, Ohio.
Gus Frangos was the sole owner of this property prior to transferring the property to 1188 East 61 Apartments, LLC.
According to county records, Frangos received a mortgage in the amount of $100,000 for this property:
And Gus Frangos signed the mortgage paperwork as being the owner of 1188 East 61 LLC
