Peter Yarrow, of Peter, Paul and Mary fame , provided a little entertainment for the
Obama for President office workers at Shaker Square, Cleveland, Ohio this afternoon. Mr. Yarrow played his guitar, sang, and gave a short speech on the importance of this election.

This evening at 6:30 PM Mr. Yarrow will play the Beachland Ballroom in Collingwood, Ohio in a concert titled “the Audacity of Votes”. The concert is free – with a suggested donation of $5.00.

The last time I saw Mr. Yarrow was in about 1962 at the
Ash Grove in LA. That was just about the time Peter, Paul, and Mary were getting started, and they were still playing small venues like the Ash Grove. In those days the music made sense. The scene was rational and entertaining - I went with my Dad to the Ash Grove a few times.

Ricky, the father of one of the Obama volunteers, was smart enough to bring down his son’s guitar to have it autographed by Mr.Yarrow (photo above). You could dig out your old Peter, Paul and Mary vinyl albums and bring them to the Beachland tonight to have them autographed!
