Sieg Heil

Submitted by Norm Roulet on Wed, 09/03/2008 - 21:58.

As I watch Palin harping at the RNC, to the scripted coos, and oohs, and boos, and seiz heils of 10,000s of strange, uniformed people unlike anyone I want to know, I think of a few minutes ago when these Nazis were yelling scripted ZE RO - fists pumping - seig heil - ZE RO - SEIG HEIL - ZE RO. Sick.

At least Palin will care for the lead poisoned... but how?

An interesting promise from Palin - she'll take care of all the brain damaged people. That would include like 50% of Clevelanders poisoned by lead. Not quite sure how she will pay for that... America has so many brain damaged people and no money.

Norm, I'm fairly certain

Norm,
I'm fairly certain that most of the folks in that hall, indeed, the 40+ MILLION who watched on the tube (about 2 million MORE than watched Obama's failed recreation of a Greek revival in Denver), don't want to know you either.
So there. Nya nya nya nyaa nyaaa...

Onward Christian Soldiers

You have only killed 100s of millions of people and an entire planet, to date, and there are billions to die before rapture.

Norm, I'll compose a more

Norm,
I'll compose a more comprehensive reply when I have more time.
But right now it's off to join the Crusades for more of that necessary killin' of which we Christians are so proud.
Now where DID I leave that broad sword...?

PS: So sorry about the country of your ancestors having been retaken by the muslims. You guys should have started YOUR killin' sooner...

"Yes, we did produce a near-perfect republic but will they keep it? Or will they, in the enjoyment of plenty, lose the memory of freedom? Material abundance without character is the path to destruction." Thomas Jefferson

"half the world fools and half hypocrites"

Jeffersonand his Republic were as ignorant, evil and far from perfect as imaginable... a society built on racial cleansing, slavery, war, hatred, theft and murder, all in the name of Jesus... all a failure... and Jefferson knew that.

According to historian Stephen Ambrose: "Jefferson, like all slaveholders and many other white members of American society, regarded Negroes as inferior, childlike, untrustworthy and, of course, as property. Jefferson, the genius of politics, could see no way for African Americans to live in society as free people."His solution seems to have been for slaves to be freed then deported peacefully, failing which the same result would be imposed by war and that, in Jefferson's words, "human nature must shudder at the prospect held up. We should in vain look for an example in the Spanish deportation or deletion of the Moors. This precedent would fall far short of our case."

Regarding religion, like with slavery, Jefferson's opinions reflected his flawed intellect and lack of good character... and declining mental capacity over life, going from youthful self-exploration and intellectual honesty to demented self-doubt... not "near-perfect" by any interpretation... again, citing Wikipedia...

In his 1787 Notes on the State of Virginia, Jefferson stated: "Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burned, tortured, fined and imprisoned. What has been the effect of this coercion? To make half the world fools and half hypocrites; to support roguery and error all over the world..."

Jefferson refused to issue proclamations calling for days of prayer and thanksgiving during his Presidency, yet he did do so as Governor in Virginia. His private letters indicate he was skeptical of too much interference by clergy in matters of civil government. His letters contain the following observations: "History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government," and, "In every country and in every age, the priest has been hostile to liberty. He is always in alliance with the despot, abetting his abuses in return for protection to his own." "May it be to the world, what I believe it will be, (to some parts sooner, to others later, but finally to all), the signal of arousing men to burst the chains under which monkish ignorance and superstition had persuaded them to bind themselves, and to assume the blessings and security of self-government." While opposed to the institutions of organized religion, Jefferson invoked the notion of divine justice in his opposition to slavery: "Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with his wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice can not sleep forever: that considering numbers, nature and natural means only, a revolution of the wheel of fortune, an exchange of situation is among possible events: that it may become probable by supernatural interference!"

While the debate over Jefferson's understanding over the separation of Church and state is far from being settled, as are his particular religious tenets, his dependence on divine Providence is not nearly as ambiguous. As he stated, in his second inaugural address:

"I shall need, too, the favor of that Being in whose hands we are, who led our fathers, as Israel of old, from their native land and planted them in a country flowing with all the necessaries and comforts of life; who has covered our infancy with His providence and our riper years with His wisdom and power, and to whose goodness I ask you to join in supplications with me that He will so enlighten the minds of your servants, guide their councils, and prosper their measures that whatsoever they do shall result in your good, and shall secure to you the peace, friendship, and approbation of all nations.”

That is a good sign Jefferson was lead poisoned by all that wine he drank in life.

MEMO TO NORM: STOP DRINKING

MEMO TO NORM:
STOP DRINKING THE WINE. OR IS IT KOOL-AID?
And as for slaves being deported, WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD THEY WANT TO RETURN TO AFRICA??

The fact is that the modern descendants of slaves brought here in chains in admittedly miserable, soul-gutting conditions now dumping on America, preaching Black Liberation Theology and/or calling for reparations need to remember something:

They should not only be glad to be in America, they should be glad to be ANYWHERE!

Had their ancestors NOT been brought OUT of Africa – many by Muslim slave raiders --the blood of those ancestors would have run into the earth over there several centuries ago, victims of the generation's-old rival black tribes that captured them in one of the interminable tribal conflicts STILL ravaging that sad continent and these modern day would-be "plaintiffs" would not even exist.

And I would remind you that slavery is STILL practiced in parts of Africa (mainly by muslims) and Asia today.

95% of the African slaves who were transported across the Atlantic went to South and Central America, mainly to Portuguese, Spanish and French possessions, and that less than 5% of the slaves who crossed the Atlantic went to the United States, it was remarkable that the vast majority of academic research, films, books and articles concerning the slave trade concentrated only on the American involvement, as though slavery was a uniquely American aberration.

And should the great-great-great grandchildren of SLAVE OWNING BLACKS also be subject to, for example, paying reparations? If so, how do we find THEM?

And I have traced MY family back to the SLAVS. For those who don’t know, that word means “slave.” Do I qualify for reparations? From whom??

The official US Census of 1830 lists 3,775 free blacks who owned 12,740 black slaves. Furthermore, the story outlines the history of slavery here, and the first slave owner, the Father of American slavery, was Mr Anthony Johnson, of Northampton, Virginia. His slave was John Casor, the first slave for life. BOTH were BLACK Africans. The story is very readable, and outlines cases of free black women owning their husbands, free black parents selling their children into slavery to white owners, and absentee free black slave owners, who leased their slaves to plantation owners.
-"Selling Poor Steven", American Heritage Magazine, Feb/Mar 1993 (Vol. 441) p 90

Of course, a full telling of Black History would not be complete without a telling of the origin of slavery in the Virginia colony:
Virginia, Guide to The Old Dominion, WPA Writers' Program, Oxford University Press, NY, 1940, p. 378

And the holier-than-thou Northern liberals are strangely silent on recent archeological evidence from NEW YORK CITY clearly tracing the financing of the slave trade to NORTHERN BUSINESSMEN!!

At the height of his remarkable boxing career, Muhammad Ali (born Cassius Clay), once declared “I’m glad my great-grandpa got on that boat.”

And author Robert Hitt Neill tells of attending a Tennessee Mountain Writer’s Conference years ago with several other authors. Among them was Alex Hailey, celebrated author of “Roots.” Watching a TV news show, a group of them observed a demonstration in a Southern state against the “Rebel” flag incorporated into that state’s flag. The very next report covered a famine in Africa. Graphic images showed dead bodies, starving children with distended tummies and runny noses and dying people covered with flies, too weak to brush them away.

Mr. Hailey intoned in a low, serious voice, “Every time an American black sees a story like that, they should find a Confederate flag and kiss it.” He then pointed to the TV screen and continued, “Because these would be me and my descendants, except for American slavery. I thank God that my family and I are here instead of there.”

So do I. So do I.

GET PROFESSIONAL HELP. The need to constantly use foul language is evidence of a deep-seated pathology.

Given that this site seems to be frequented by you and, on a good day, 3 or 4 others with varying levels of the same illness (Michal Savage is correct, liberalim is a mental disease) this shall be my last post.

If your disease prompts you to reply, please be my guest. It will go unread.

I leave you with an image I PRAY never comes to pass and, given current trends, will not. Hope it makes you FURIOUS.

I thought Sarah Pallin was great and that the "Sieg Heil" comparison would be more aptly applied to Dennis Kucinich's tirade at the Democratic National Convention. Nonetheless, there is a huge disconnect here. Dick wants to assure us that McCain has our butts covered in terms of National Security and yet as I have endured the RNC convention (sorry folks, DNC puts on a much better show this time around) I have not seen one ringing endorsement from any current or former military personnel other than McCain's war buddies. Am I missing something here--where's Colin Powell and Norman Schwarzkopf?

My header belies the real threat to national security. The potential that our elections will be rigged and decided for us by the incompetence you will find at our election boards. I am scared--very scared.

More like a NRA Convention

A few token blacks, and a sea of evangelical white sheep, all chanting in unison. The only things like it I have seen have been massive white evangelical christian rallies, and films of Nazi Germany. And there seemed more diverse, and less fanatical, until they srarted burning Jews.

Americans were much better at genocide than the Nazis... but will these neonazis be happy with anything less than extermination of all nonbelievers? I see Palin as a smiling, female Hitler ... put them side by side and you will see they deliver the same messages, the same way, except Palin is smiling all the way to the White House, and control of the world's most dangerous military.

I am very afraid for the world and all humans living here. I believe it is time for world leaders to step up and demand the Republicans stop this insanity - the truly United Nations must be prepared to defend all other nations together, from us.

Wake up America...

You did not hear Palin say Up With Peace!

Disrupt IT

Norm, "Peace" has several

Norm,
"Peace" has several definitions:
1. The absence of conflict;
2. The absence of RESISTANCE to an alien philosophy or ideology. It is the peace of the prison, gulag or graveyard. The old USSR had LOTS of internal peace. Resistance meant death -- or worse.

That second definition is the one most THINKING folk embrace today given that the ideology espoused by the man is basically good, utopian, heaven-on-earth statists is socialism tending toward outright communism.

The world you seek never has existed nor will it ever exist on this planet.

If you were paying attention last night, between the lines Palin was telling you statist libs "UP YOURS!"

"Yes, we did produce a near-perfect republic but will they keep it? Or will they, in the enjoyment of plenty, lose the memory of freedom? Material abundance without character is the path to destruction." Thomas Jefferson

Palin said "up yours" to peace, and up with Fascism

By Statism, I assume you are refering to the Republicans lying and deceiving the American people and the world to send 100,000s of Americans and others into multiple forced terms of battle in global conflicts initiated by America as religious crusades in resistance to non-Christian alien philosopies and ideologies.

I believe the NEOCON republicans like Palin better fit the term Fascism.

Nothing about Palin's speak last night was between any sane lines - she said Up Yours in the face of all the world's good people, showing shocking resistance to all alien philosophies and ideoligies from this warmonger... "Up Yours", Peace, by either of your definitions.

I believe if the world supports intelligent leaders from today's younger, better generations, like Obama, the world can be put on a better track for repair and revolutionary reformation by future, more intelligent, less bitter, evil and broken people than live here today.

Humanity and our planet need much healing from the harm done by the past and current haters of our world... just turning the corner will take decades, assuming the Republicans don't trigger a nuclear meltdown first. With Palin in the executioner's chair, I'd say our odds of surviving one more generation are slim to none.

Norm, I assume from your

Norm,
I assume from your family name that you are of French descent.

If that IS the case, how do you feel about America having sent "100,000s of Americans and others into multiple forced terms of battle in global conflicts" -- started, incidentally by the Axis powers -- to remove Hitler from, among other places, FRANCE???

Or was that something "special?"

My friend, all we're TRYING to do in the Middle East is keep the nut case islamofascists from getting here by killing them THERE.

Swiss, actually...

Roulet family crest

The Roulets date back to Switzerland, in the late 1400s.

Roulet roots

The
Roulet family has its legal origin ("commune d'origine" or "Heimat") at
La Sagne and Les Ponts-de-Martel, adjacent villages near La
Chaux-de-Fonds in the Neuchâtel mountains. The founder of the family, Rollet Bayard,
lived at La Sagne, and died before 1512. He had no sons, so his
daughter's husband, Claude Jaquet, adopted her name, and their children
used Rollet-Bayard as their surname. Subsequent generations shortened
this to Rollet, which later became Roulet.

Our
tree contains about 900 of Rollet Bayard's descendants down to the
present day, mainly living in and around La Sagne, Les Ponts-de-Martel
and La Chaux-de-Fonds.

We have traced our own branch of the family back to Blaise Roulet of Noiraigue, who died before 1615.

Another
branch of the family is found in the lower part of the canton at
Rochefort, Peseux and Neuchâtel itself, but we have not yet established
how they are linked to our tree.

François Roulet of Neuchâtel (1768-1845) was ennobled by Friedrich-Wilhelm III of Prussia, and took the name de Roulet.

My father's side of the family seems to have come through New Jersey to Toledo, where they founded The Roulet Company, still in existence today. From The Roulet Company website,
