Kenneth Timmerman, author of "Countdown to Crisis: The Coming Nuclear Showdown with Iran," offers a chilling account of Iran’s complicity in the 9-11 attack on the World Trade Center; of its clandestine nuclear weapons program that could already include enough nuclear materials for 20-25 bombs; its current sheltering of Osama bin Laden; and its on-going financing of the insurgents in Iraq. Timmerman also takes the CIA to task for its “willful blindness and incompetence” in evaluating the theocratic Iranian regime’s motives and actions. Among Mr. Timmerman’s sources are former high-level Iranian intelligence officials who have defected and previously classified documents.

HealthSpace Cleveland and Pfizer present, "GENOME: The Secret of How Life Works." This fascinating traveling exhibition answers the question, "who do you think you are?" through a series of interactive exhibits, informative displays and engaging public programs.

This exhibition explores the history and legacy of the families and individuals who lived along the grand Euclid Avenue during the late 19th century. By examining the years 1880-1929, and connecting the history and achievements of this period to modern-day Cleveland, Millionaires' Row explores the legacy of Euclid Avenue residents that surround us.

Arranged by decade, this exhibit features many artifacts that have never been displayed at the Museum. These include Bobby Darin's piano, the dress Aretha Franklin wore during her first appearance at Radio City Music Hall, the Rolling Stones' Beggars Banquet backdrop, costumes and instruments from Heart, David Gahan of Depeche Mode's jacket, Kurt Cobain's guitar, Shannon Hoon of Blind Melon's outfit, and much more. A unique feature of the exhibit is a timeline which chronicles major events in rock and roll from 1952 2002. In a special section highlighting teen idols, music fans can take a look at teen heart-throbs throughout the years. Costumes and merchandise on display from teen idols ranging from David Cassidy to 'N Sync, Ricky Nelson to New Kids on the Block, Jackson 5 to New Edition and Annette Funicello to Britney Spears.

If you care about the form, flow and future of our community, you must care about this near $ billion project. The Cuyahoga County Planning Commission, area newspapers and universities, and broad community leaders all agree this project offers a great opportunity to reshape Cleveland forever. There is broad agreement we should replace the current I-90 bridge with a world-class span. In doing so, we may relocate the bridge south to allow further development around our $500 million gateway district, and create an astounding gateway entrance to our city. Barbara Boxer, a United States Senator since 1993, will talk about her debut novel "A Time to Run," the story of a liberal California Senator who deals with friendship and betrayal, idealism and pragmatism, and in-fighting and public spin surrounding the nomination of an ultraconservative Hispanic female Supreme Court justice.

Public comments are being accepted by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) on a draft plan for conserving the remaining open spaces and natural areas in the Lake Erie Region. In addition, as part of the state's efforts to meet eligibility on the federal Coastal and Estuarine Land Conservation Program, Ohio will hold two public meetings in November to solicit feedback on the draft plan.

Learn how artists are recording the history of space exploration in paintings, sculpture and music. Enjoy an art show from NASA's Art Program archives.
