Galleries, artists, and businesses have joined together to create an event to publicize this part of the city where many Cleveland artists work. The event, City Artists at Work will bring together about sixty artists whose studios are located in thirteen separate buildings.

Cleveland, OH/Pittsburgh, PA: The May Fine Art & Antiques online auction by Aspire Auctions, Inc., starts Friday May 8th and lots close over a three day period (May 14,15 and 16) because there are over 1200 lots in this auction. Many of the fine paintings in this auction are from a Gates Mills Ohio bankruptcy case, so approximately 60 paintings are offered without reserves or minimums.

Yesterday was a special day for me - a beautiful day in the region - so I ended it with my good friend Ed Hauser, as I often do. Alone on his own island, he is always easy to find. I was photographing the sunset right by where Ed's boats belong. They are gone... he is now walking on water.

Because of Ed, my heart lives on Whiskey Island too, and I have photographed there scores of times.

Come listen as these four amazing, award-winning women grace the Fine Arts Department at Cleveland Public Library. The Cavani String Quartet has been featured on the ABC, NBC, CBS and PBS networks. Enjoy the easy sounds on Saturday, May 30 at 4:00 p.m.
