This Gallup study sits about right with me.  When you travel around the country, there is a State by State feeling which is in line with this list.

Ursuline College Students for Historic Preservation is a student association, which seeks community outreach to actively engage interested persons in Historic Preservation. Without active engagment in preservation past critiques of the discipline will ultimately be the reality... we need to expand the premise of historic preservation to address contemporary problems to benefit future communities.

The recent indictment and arrest of Aurora resident and Afghanistan immigrant Najibullah Zazi on terrorism charges has again put a spotlight on the problem of Islamic radicals plotting acts of violence. But a book released this past week raises the question of whether our nation's response to the terrorist threat is being deliberately undermined by U.S.-based organizations whose mission is the eventuaI Islamization of America.

Ran into an old friend this morning at University Hospital where we older people are likely to meet. Boy was she angry. At Dennis Kucinich, a favorite of hers.

 I want to thank all who signed up for our Toys 4 Tots drive. As of 11/06/09 the final turn in date we had over 350 children on our list.This was over 100 more then last year. Thanks to all who helped make this happen. But due to finacial restraints we here at Clark-Metro are asking for CHRISTMAS RAPPING PAPER DONATIONS. Even a roll can help us give the children of our community a better Christmas. Happy 81st Birthday, Julian Stanczak... born November 5, 1928. Julian is an originator and continuing master of Op Art - one of the most important and renowned artists ever - and his work is stronger now than ever.

All that is seen without doubt in 116 remarkable paintings exhibited as compositions in Julian's amazing body of expansive, precise, cohesive "Recent Work", now showing at MoCA. Grouped as three colorful masterpieces, and a series of 10 individual black and white expressions, all these paintings stand together as one conclusive, vibrant statement, that life is an amazing experience, as only Julian may know.

There are many, many materials and techniques available for building structures, yet there is very little variety in our commercial and residential construction.

The mysterious hacksawers have struck again.  Right in plain veiw out the window of the Treehouse on the corner of Professor and College they whacked off a green pole that boasted a "no parking from here to the corner" sign and re-deposited it about three yards forward and several feet shorter.  The white sign which is now near the stop sign was once where the white spot of concrete is now.
