Bend your elbow mates, inhale the craft brew, it's all yours!

A PILLOW FOR GUY - GUY AND YOGI - TWO OF TREMONTS BRIGHEST STARS

Well, Guy won't find any minute listening devices inside this pillow but maybe it  will serve as a small reminder that he and Yogi are two of Tremont's shinning stars.

Whether they took your pillows or not Guy,  here's one you'll remember.  It's a tribute to your run for the TWDC Board last year and the story we got out in the December issue of the Plain Press.

Jeff, I was unsuccessful in posting with the proper topic - so maybe I did follow instruction very well.

Sally Grizell Larson's photo-realistic, chromogenic, digital assemblage prints are something quite extraordinary.  Recently I had a chance to speak with her while she was in the midst of screening one of her films in South America.

Visit Art Digital Magazine to read the interview and see more work.

Senseless bulldozing: The Spectre of Failed Urban Planning

Submitted by Eternity on Fri, 11/13/2009 - 11:32.

Max Eternity - To often the role of cultural arbiters, civic activists and community workers is portrayed as a position of emotional engagement, not sensibility.  From direct experience I have come to see that there is a tendency for in-power administrators, politicians and real estate speculators to prioritize their lust of recognition and new revenue above the bread and butter needs of those they should serve--retaining existing communal integrity and existing communal wealth.  Fom this position of pie-in-the-sky optimistic idealism, these powers-at-large become blind,

deer along lake erie image 11.2.09 jeff buster

I was walking in a boat yard on the shore of Lake Erie watching the crew put up sailboats for the winter and I hiked up over a 6 foot high mound to get a better view and found myself face to face with this gentleman.

Two years ago Solon spent a half a million dollars to hire "sharpshooters" to kill 500 deer in Solon.

Whose City is it, anyway?
