HOW HONEST & TRUSTWORTHY IS THE PLAIN DEALER WITH THE CAMPAIGN TO SAVE HISTORIC 80-YEAR OLD JOHN MARSHALL HIGH SCHOOL LOCATED IN CLEVELAND, OHIO? IF CITY HALL IS NOT HONEST & TRUSTWORTHY – WHAT ABOUT THE PLAIN DEALER? IS THE PLAIN DEALER IN BED WITH CITY HALL? PRESIDENT OF THE PLAIN DEALER IS NOT RESPONDING The Plain Dealer wants Public Officials to be honest and trustworthy --- but is not being honest and trustworthy with the The President and Publisher of The PLAIN Dealer has not responded to two e-mails and a certified letter. The Plain Dealer wants proponents of the 15-mill tax levy to be honest, trustworthy, accountable, clear, and transparent as explained in their Editorial: “Cleveland schools must be clear and honest about what levy will buy”posted on Cleveland.Com – The Plain Dealer’s website on August 4, 2012. The SAVE JOHN MARSHALL HIGH SCHOOL campaign posted comments on Cleveland.Com – stating that Mayor Jackson, CEO Gordon, Councilman Sweeney, and others were not honest and trustworthy on the $50 million John Marshall High School Construction Project (located in Cleveland, Ohio) and thus the Mayor and CEO could not be trusted for the 15-mill levy required for the Transformation Plan.
On the morning of September 4, 2012 – all comments pertaining to the Terrance C. Z. Egger, President and Publisher of The Plain Dealer, has not responded to two e-mails (Sept. 7 & 21, 2012) and a certified letter (Sept. 21, 2012) requesting explanations to the deletions in the spirit of clarity and honesty described in the PD editorial: “Cleveland schools must be clear and honest about what levy will buy.” In addition, The Plain Dealer never reported the gross injustice meted out by City Hall to over 2,400 petitioners – when the cases of injustice were brought to the attention of their reporters. The cases of injustice are covered in the correspondence with Mr. Egger. A third e-mail and a second certified letter were sent on November 8, 2012 and a response requested by November 19, 2012 at the latest! Let us see if the President of The Plain Dealer will respond or continue to ignore the SAVE JOHN MARSHALL campaign.
