A two-count criminal information charges Thomas Newman with theft and embezzlement in a federally funded program, and money laundering.

Protest the Cuyahoga County Land Bank - November 28, 2012

 When I read today's Dirty Dealer Editorial endorsing Issue 107, one paragraph stuck me in the eye like a sharp stick:

What the Port Authority won't tell you, is that between all the TIFs that they use to pay for several of the bonds they issue, local municipalities are getting screwed out of tax revenue for their schools and to operate the municipality.   The term TIF  (Tax Increment Financing) is an intentional deception -   funny money terminology - so the public dozes off...

TAX AVOIDANCE FINANCING (TAF) is the honest terminology.

Knowing that just about every goverment agency in Cuyahoga is corrupt - the sollution for the future is to do what?   Increase their budgets with a new, bigger tax levy like Issue 108?

Mitt Romney was governor in Massachusetts when in 2006 the state legislated  Commonwealth Care, an all - citizen healtcare. 

The health care legislation has been well received by Massachusetts in the seven years since it was legislated.

The Port Authority is the master of mis-representation - actually a  master of out right fraud.
