I recognize that people don't gravitate to my message. I get comments like "why are you so negative?" And, as a woman that translates to the unspoken - "why are you such a bitch?"
I don't suffer fools and I don't want to hear bullshit. Cleveland is a real bullshit mecca. There are so many charlatans here. It angers me. We DO have a lot to cheer about here. I do write about those things.

Congratulations to Mayor-Elect Justin Bibb and to Rebecca Maurer for the big upset in Ward 12. Bibb may not fully realize it, but the tide has turned on Cleveland City Council. Cimperman appointee, Kerry McCormack, realized early on that he could not tie his future to the political machine that groomed him under the Ohio City Development Corporation.

The conceit of the clerisy described in this WSJ post - is their insistence on telling everyone how to vote and how righteous they are for telling you what is right and what is wrong.

See the trees and the grasses in this photo? This is not a natural landscape. It was designed by a landscape architect to help save 60+ year old English Oaks in a city park that underwent a massive reconstruction project in Cleveland, Ohio. It was a very political and stressful situation for residents.

NACA.com is putting this out there again - a reminder of the heady days when CHN-NHS destroyed the east side of CLE - preying on first-time minority home buyers and persuading them to go with their complex funding often involving second mortgages. SICK - just sick. The cycle starts all over, again.

Received a glossy flyer from the Cleveland Foundation - sharing important COVID-19 information in English and Arabic. Why? I know Metro West as the satellite, fake CDC with a Latin flavor under Detroit Shoreway. It has done nothing.

During this mini-heat wave, I am not the only person who books a hotel room to beat the heat. Apparently, whole families cram into the rooms at the Akron Courtyard Marriott, leading the management to issue a legal waiver notifying noisy groups that they will be thrown out and forfeit their reservation deposits.
